• September 19: UMW prepares and serves Coffee and... goodies from our new cookbook which will be on sale. The Fall General Meeting will convene at 12:30 in room #110. Bring sandwich, salad or dessert to share.

THE PURPOSE OF UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

To know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the Global Ministries of the church.

WHO ARE MEMBERS?
Members are: women of diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds; employed and unemployed; women with disabilities; housewives; and business-women; single, married, widowed, and divorced women; teen women; young women; middle-aged women; multicultural and multiracial women; and retired women committed to MISSION. You do not have to be a member of CFUMC to join a UMW circle.

MARY-MARTHA CIRCLE

MYRTIE POOLE PRAYER CIRCLE
Leaders: Virginia Hammet and Evelyn Rodecker

(All Year)
One of the earliest UMW groups in our church, meetings include a program that is followed by a covered-dish luncheon.

HISPANIC CIRCLE
Leader: Any Stevens
Last Friday, 6:00 PM
Student Center (All Year)
The women in this circle focus on reading and discussing books.

NAOMI-RUTH CIRCLE
Leader: Lisa Woolard
Second Monday, 9:30 AM, Room 110
(September thru May)
Naomi-Ruth is a blend of women of all ages who gather for Christian fellowship, a program and outreach to the community. Nursery is provided.

NIGHTINGALES CIRCLE
Leader: Ginny Davis & Sarah LaPlaca
Third Tuesday, 7:00-8:30 PM, Room 109
(September thru May)
Members are women in search of Bible study and new friendships. Although most of our members work during the day, we welcome anyone for whom evening meetings are the best fit for their schedule. Nursery is provided.

SUNSHINE CIRCLE
Leader: Dana Lilienthal
Third Monday, 7:00 PM, Room 110
(All Year)
This new circle is focused on the needs of children in our church, community and beyond. This is a group for women of all ages. (Occasionally meetings are held in Room 109.) Nursery is provided.

TRINITY SISTERS CIRCLE
Leaders: Teresa Kelly and Kristine Walden
Third Wednesday, 5:30 PM, Room 110
(All Year)
This circle is for all teen/college girls. Our focus is on fellowship, mission projects, food and fun social activities in addition to our monthly meetings. Come join us!!!
