Rev. Cromartie's sermon series is entitled: Getting to Know Jesus Through the Voice of St. Luke.

The Gospel according to Luke tells us in the first few verses that it is written: …so that you may know the truth concerning these things…

Luke tells the truth of Jesus in such a compelling and distinctive way.

For the next few months, we will listen to Luke’s telling of the Gospel story. We will get to know Jesus through the voice of St. Luke. It promises to be an exciting journey.

Only Luke gives a detailed account of Jesus’ birth and the wonder of that birth. The Christmas story would be absent were it not for the voice of St. Luke.

We began at the ending and see what we must learn about the end of all things to see clearly the deeper purposes of God in our day, in our time, in our circumstances.
