Wednesday Welcome Table, September 24, 2008, with a meal in the family life center from 6-7 PM, after which we meet in the sanctuary to hear Dr. David Pollick, President of Birmingham Southern College.
Plans are underway for the 2009 Festival of the Arts, scheduled for April 19-26. Early estimates are triple or even quadruple the number of artists. In addition, the “Bach’s Lunch” will be introduced with noon concerts during the week followed by a light lunch.
Bible Studies
Disciple groups will soon end their cycle of work, but we are organizing groups that will begin in late August and early September. There is a group that would suit you, so please let us hear of your interest. Contact Laurie Hintz.. Click for a video on the program and the plans for the fall.

Resources for Help
Special Needs Children - a "buddy" helps children with developmental needs participate in Sunday morning Children's Worship Programs. Call Rev. Herring, (770) 887-2900, ext. 238. We have buddies for:
- Sunday School (9:45-10:45 am) for ages 4 through grade 5
- Kids' Kingdom (8:45 and 11 am) for ages 4 through grade 5
- TGIF (11 am) for grades 3-5
Families of Deployed Soldiers is a network to help with the challenges faced by wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, children.
